Traveling south for the winter

Traveling south for the winter

Our fourth year of volunteer astronomy at Theodore Roosevelt National Park is in the books and we have started moving south towards Arizona for the winter. Our route will take us through New Mexico. We have not spent much time in New Mexico. We look forward to a Wool Festival in Taos along with boondocking near the Very Large Array (VLA). Otherwise, it is time to renew our training for Morse Code and studying for our general exams. it feels good to again be moving.

  1. Oct. 21 in Las Cruces? Perhaps we could get together briefly and chat about shared interests: stargazing, Nat Parks, RVing…. Been following your exploits for awhile…Nils
